HemCon® Strip PRO

HemCon Strip PRO a convenient user friendly hemostatic bandage able to effectively control bleeding for smaller wounds such as dialysis access sites and catheter sites. Can also be used on patients on anticoagulants. Bandage seals the wound, shortening the manual compression time, saving the staff and physician time. The bandage also provides an antibacterial barrier.

HemCon Strip is also available in an over the counter version as HemCon Strip FIRST AID for bleeding control of minor cuts and lacerations.

Intended Use

U.S.:
The HemCon® Strip Pro is a hemostatic dressing for the external, temporary control of bleeding wounds intended for emergency use. In addition, the HemCon Strip Pro also controls bleeding in patients following hemodialysis and is indicated for the control of bleeding from the skin at percutaneous needle access sites and radial catheter access sites.

Europe and O.U.S.:
The HemCon® Strip Pro is a hemostatic dressing for the external, temporary control of bleeding wounds intended for emergency use. The HemCon Strip PRO also controls bleeding in patients following hemodialysis and is indicated for the control of bleeding from the skin at percutaneous needle access, vascular access, and percutaneous catheter access sites.

OTC indication U.S.:
The HemCon Strip FIRST AID is intended for the local management of bleeding such as lacerations and minor bleeding.
